NBA: Atlanta stopped the winning streak of Chicago

Chicago Bulls lost for the first time in their last seven games of the National Basketball Association. “Bulls” gave as guests of the Atlanta Hawks 94:109.

Most useful for the winners were Josh Smith, who carried 25 points and Joe Johnson and Vladimir Radmanovic added a 17. Chicago could not provide the normal level as top scorer with 16 points was Josh Lucas III.

Champion Dallas Mavericks did beat New Orleans Hornets with a 96:81. This time Dirk Nowitzki was not in the spotlight as the most effective with 13 points were Ian Mahinmi and Vince Carter.
